Quantum's new lineup of baitcast reels for 2009 provide a wide choice of reels for every skill level and budget.

Quantum's Tour Edition their top of the line baitcast reel takes on a new look and feel for 2009. The new Tour Edition features the first ever carbon fiber handle which reduces the weight of the reel over 2 ounces to 7.5oz. The newly redsigned reel has 11PT hybrid polymer-stainless bearings, and Micro ACS II cast control for absolute precision and smoothness. The HPT "burner" model has a 7.o:1 gear ratio that brings 29 inches of line with each turn of the handle, and is priced at 279.95.

The Energy Cast reel has also been redesigned with a slick new profile and over 2oz weight reduction. Micro ACS cast control, MaxCast aluminum spools and new powerful ceramic drag, and a price of 189.95, will continue to make the Energy Cast reel one of the best sellers for 2009.

The Cataylst PT features 7 PT hybrid polymer-stainless bearings a 7.0:1 gear ratio and a new one piece aluminum frame design for a lower profile, Micro ACS cast control, and the new ceramic drag. The Catalyst sells for 149.95.

The Quantum Burst was introduced in 2008 and has quickly become one of our fastest selling reels. Available in 7.0:1 and 6.3:1 gear ratios, the Burst features 6 ultra-smooth bearings with a powerful Continuos Anti-Reverse and DynaMag magnetic cast control. All for an affordable 69.95

The Quantum Response offers an affordable reel with a wide array of professional features. The Response baitcast reel features 5 performance bearings, including a strong Continuous Anti-Reverse roller bearing for strength on the hookset, as well as a MaxCast™ skeletal aluminum spool. 49.99
